My little sister (well, being the oldest they are all little sisters), Kristen turned 21 today! She went to party with some friends, so we didn't get the chance to see her, but we wish her the best! Love ya sis!

Happy Anniversary!

Sunday, September 7th is Kelly (Milewski) and Shane Martin's one year anniversary! We're so happy for you guys and glad Shane's a part of the family! Congrats!

Happy 24th of July!

So anyone outside Utah probably doesn't consider this date important, but in Utah July 24th is at least as big, if not bigger than the 4th of July. It's a state holiday celebrating the day the pioneers came to Utah. There are parades, fireworks, and everything that goes with it. Kids that are in year round school have already started and get the day off, many places are closed, and it's a day to play, so that's what we did.
Jeff's 2 older brothers both have 3 kids and we got together with them for a water party during the day.



Jeff's aunt has the blow up slides she let us borrow for the day since they had other plans.
Jeff was unfortunately still in CA for work and missed the water party, but when he got home that night we had our own little family fireworks show. Our neighbors were out with theirs too. So it was fun cheering for each others fireworks when we had cool ones.

Memories of COLD SPRINGS (Ellenburg Depot, NY) warms my heart! Remember the days when beach towels covered the rocks by the deep end and small children ventured in the shallow end? What a great place to explore as a kid and remember with fondness as an adult. ( This is the shallow end.)

Tell us about yourself...

Hey, everyone! I'm sure it'll take some time to get everyone on and blogging about their lives, but I guess we'll get started. I thought we could start off with telling a little about ourselves. I'm Holly Nye, Wendy Taylor's oldest daughter, who is Phil & Wilma's oldest daughter. I'm married to Jeff and we have three kids: Cassidy, Caitlyn, and Carter. I'm a stay at home mom, and Jeff works as a consultant for Microsoft (which means he goes to different companies and installs or updates programs and teaches the customer how to use them). We are enjoying the summer and loved getting to see some of you in New York recently. We'll add more later.
